An overview of your future role at BBA

Carry out engineering projects based on IEC 61850 standards for digital power systems
Play various roles, such as project leader
Design protection diagrams (logic and control diagrams)
Design substation HMI/SCADA architecture and configuration
Configure smart electronic devices (relays, substation controllers, etc.)
Perform testing at BBA's digital power systems lab
Commission digital power systems

Overview of certifications and job requirements

Diploma of college studies in Electrical Engineering or other relevant training
Five years of experience or more in the power systems sector
Available to travel to BBA's offices across Canada
Available for short
- and long-term assignments at client sites across Canada
Bilingual (English and French)
Knowledge of substation technology
Knowledge of how to configure protection relays

Asset:
knowledge of the IEC 61850 standard

Asset:
knowledge of how to configure HMI/SCADA systems

Asset:
knowledge of test equipment for protection relays

Asset:
knowledge of AutoCAD software
