We are looking for an inspiring and self-motivated

Network Team Lead for our branch located in

Edmonton You will lead an amazing team of individuals while supporting several clients across our organization in this fast-paced, challenging and rewarding role.


A Day in the Life:


  • Help build and achieve team goals by setting clear expectations and establishing deadlines and accountability
  • Share relevant LVS news to team regarding wins, growth, direction and strategy
  • Monitor team performance and escalate any people issues or concerns to your manager
  • Communicate regularly and provide prompt feedback to the team and individuals on successes and areas of improvement through team meetings, 1 on 1's, and Career Life Planning Meetings (CLP's)
  • Lead a geographically dispersed, 24/7 network team supporting Long View clients and tools including assisting and training team members on monitoring tool enhancements like Logic Monitor, Pager Duty and BMC Remedy
  • Serve as an escalation point for the network team members, leading decisions, guidance, and action
  • Ensure timely response to detect, triage and escalate alerts
  • Lead continuous improvement within the team
  • Manage expectations around performance and procedural work for team members
  • Ensure client operations align to written procedure and policy to assure quality of service delivery, as well as maintaining the body of written procedures and policies
  • Respond to and manage escalations related to client incidents and inquiries, as well as tools and processes that impact the team

What You Bring:


  • 3+ years of experience in leading a team that works 24/7 and is geographically distributed
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex, multitenant network infrastructure tools and systems comprised of onpremises and cloud connected technologies
  • 5+ years of experience working in a multitenant service provider environment
  • Experience working with and managing incident, problem, change and service requests that follow ITIL framework standards
  • Strong strategic planning and analytics skills
  • Willingness and ability to adhere to service delivery excellence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and conflict resolutions skills
  • Able to guide, coach and advise at all levels
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to set priorities and give direction

What Makes You Extra Awesome:


  • Hands on experience with Routing and Switching, Security/Firewall management and Endpoint Security in Cisco, Palo Alto, NetScaler and Wireless
  • Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
  • Experience with vendor engagement and negotiations
