The Health Support Aide has an important role within the health care team and is responsible for helping with daily routines of care and to support patients/clients with activities of daily living
The role may include:
the provision of basic care, specimen collection and other support functions under the guidance and direction of licensed health care professionals.
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Grade 1
- Any previous related experience or related education would be an asset
- Knowledge of infection control procedures an asset
- Current BCLS
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with patients/clients, hospital staff, public and referral sources
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours:
- Casual Relief
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $20.58 Hourly
