As a Marketing & Communications Manager you'll have the opportunity to develop and influence the success of B2B, B2B2C and B2B marketing strategies to educate the consumer as well as develop strategies and campaigns to support sales in their efforts to distribute our own proprietary product line.

The Job:


The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for LGM's direct-to-consumer line of business (LGM) in support of corporate goals and initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Acquisition & Retention

  • Develop creative, tactic and channel test plans, continuously measuring, monitoring, iterating and improving to optimize the marketing funnel
  • Developing a strategy to drive high quality traffic organically using content marketing and SEO tactics as part of the mix
  • Work with inhouse and agency talent to executive on creative and content requirements
  • Develop content, strategy and marketing materials in support of strategic partner growth marketing programs.
Measuring & Monitoring

  • Establish marketing goals, KPIs, and tracking based on past performance and market forecasts
  • Report on project progress and KPIs, keeping executives and other key stakeholders informed
  • Own the tracking, attribution, and measurement of performance metrics (ROAS, incrementality, lift, etc.) using a combination of inhouse and thirdparty data
Functional Management

  • Work collaboratively with team members to proactively manage resources by developing and maintaining a marketing calendar and budget
  • Manage agencies and contractors to ensure work is delivered on time, on budget and in accordance with LGM's marketing strategy and plan.

Required Skills:


  • Demonstrated success in marketing strategy, management and implementation of B2C and B2B marketing initiatives
  • Experience leading digital advertising campaigns across a variety of platforms
  • Proficient in designing and managing operating budgets at a functional level
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
  • Outstanding problem solving, analytical skills and ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
  • Strong collaboration, partnering and consultative skills
  • Proven ability to work with & influence crossfunctional departments
  • Ability to think strategically, implement and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Education:


  • Postsecondary degree in marketing or business administration, or related discipline.

Experience:


  • 810 years marketing experience
  • Experience in insurance or the automotive industry an asset
