Summary of Responsibilities_
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team.
As an Estimator, your mission will be to accurately assess resources, perform comprehensive takeoffs, and provide cost data for sales and design purposes.
You will serve as the Production Team's representative in the Pre-Construction process, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration.-
Essential Functions_
- Prepare takeoffs and estimates on materials and labor, starting at Class D Cost Estimate.
- Conduct thorough scope document reviews, crossreferencing with drawings, and proactively identifying and solving designrelated challenges. Prepare for site walkthroughs and address obstacles early on.
- Review constructability of the design package and provide valuable feedback.
- Collaborate with our inhouse Millwork Specialist (MS) to coordinate quote timelines and cabinetry quotes from multiple vendors. Determine manhours required for delivery and installation.
- Attending trade walkthroughs and engineering preliminary site reviews.
- Stay updated on project remeasures and promptly update estimates as required.
- Build and maintain historical data, tracking Budget Vs. Actual cost of MAC Resources.
- Review and diagnose slippage at the end of each phase for continuous improvement.
- Work with various budgets and client personalities, demonstrating adaptability and professionalism.
- Attend PL/PM Monthly meetings, Lessons Learned sessions, and weekly GSRs with direct support.
- Review outcomes of design team meetings and contribute insights as needed.

Most Critical Outcomes:
Timely and accurate takeoffs, estimates, and hitting GP% targets. Assess scope and constructability effectively compared to existing conditions. Update historical data via GSRs at the end of each project.
