About us


Nature and Nurture Academy is a small but mighty team of educators who love what they do, located in the heart of Cloverdale.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement ageappropriate lesson plans.
  • Provide a safe, gentle and nurturing environment for children.
  • Maintain a neat and clean classroom environment.
  • Establish and maintain positive daily communication with families.
  • Provide opportunities to express creativity through art exploration, dramatic play, and music and movement.
  • Prepare daily provocations and activities for children to engage with.
  • Support with toileting and maintaining children's daily hygeine routines.
  • Work with coteachers to create monthly classroom themes and plans.
  • Report to Manager/Director/Classroom Lead Teacher.

Requirements:


  • Valid ECE/ ECE(IT) license
  • 7:00am 5:00pm availability Monday
  • Friday
  • Ability to communicate clearly and positively with families and surrounding educators.
  • Three written references, Resume, Criminal Record Check

Salary:
$19.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Surrey, BC V3S 1H2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
