The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides:
RPNs/RNs in Tertiary Care work in conjunction with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, SWs, OTs, psychology, as well as community mental health.
We are looking for a self-directed, motivated, reliable and flexible mental health-trained nurse (RN/RPN) who enjoys working in a team environment and has a strong desire to learn.

OPPORTUNITY until August 31, 2024, or the return of the incumbent. Shifts of work are rotating days and nights with shift times of 07:50 to 20:00, 19:50 to 08:00.

South Hills Tertiary Rehabilitation Centre is a relatively small site located in Kamloops, B.C, highly specialized in mental health services designed for individuals with serious and persistent symptoms of mental illness.
It is a two – 20 bed unit facility focused on rehabilitation and recovery with the goal of preparing individuals for community reintegration.
The goal is to improve the quality of life for individuals by assisting them to assume responsibility over their lives and to function as actively and independently in society as possible.
