Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper


Duties:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service;
• Take customer orders and process payments;
• Prepare and serve food and beverages;
• Maintain cleanliness of the counter area and dining area;
• Assist with catering orders as needed;
• Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans;
• Storing ingredients and food items according to safety standards;
• Preparing meal ingredients for the cook, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients;
• Properly washing and drying all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments, and cutting boards;
• Neatly putting away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places.

Schedule:

• 12hour shift;
• 8hour shift;
• Day shift;
• Evening shift.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred;
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask;
• Ability to stand for long periods;
• High school diploma or GED;
• Proven experience helping kitchen settings;
• Ability to safely use kitchen equipment and appliances;
• Sound knowledge of food safety standards and procedures;
• Strong communication skills.

Job Types:

• Fulltime, Parttime, Casual, Permanent

Part-time hours:

• 40 per week

Salary:

• From $15.00 per hour
