- Your role:
The Information Technology Advisor is the first point of contact for the Business Process Organization, Operational Directions and Functions to inquire about IT.
We need you for:
Understand and advise Business on IT matters
- Maintain a good communication with all stakeholders (BPO, BPM, Key SMEs ) to ensure awareness of key IT Demands upcoming and understand business operations, challenges, and evolving opportunities to effectively advise business partners and anticipate their needs.
- Operate as the primary point of contact with the assigned business or operational directions, representing IT in promoting IT services and capabilities.
- Ensure participation to forum and conference to remain aware of latest trend related to the core solutions supporting the process in scope with Solution Architecture Specialist.
- Discuss impact and opportunity with business stakeholders and maintain a portfolio of opportunities
- Participate to visions of tomorrow.
- Provide to Business IT estimates (Total Cost of Ownership).
- Contribute to business portfolio management.
- Support the prioritization of IT Demands by providing understanding of risks, value and cost of each request under evaluation.
- Ensure that Delivery Cell is properly briefed on the request.
- Participate in discussions on the process roadmap. New IT functionalities to add to resolve current business challenges.
- Conduct regular followups with business partners to ensure partners' satisfaction and maintain a climate of collaboration and trust.
- You have 5 years of experience in IT Projects, experience in Project Management would be an asset.
- You have 5 years of experience in major Application Software project implementation / Portfolio Management.
- You have experience in Manufacturing, Service & Distribution industry in a global and multicultural environment.
- You speak and write English and French.
- You are knowledgeable of ERP (such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics,), System Integration à knowledge in Order to Cash, Finance, Controlling are an asset.
- You combine pieces of information to see interdependencies on systems and processes.
- You master the art of translating technical concepts into succinct, nontechnical terms to executivelevel stakeholders.
