CNC Operator
Magnus Staffing Solutions is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry.


Position Summary:

The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating a CNC Router and planer to produce parts for Company.

This person will work closely with the Production Manager and other team members to ensure efficient production of parts for customer orders.


Responsibilities:


  • Set up, operate, and maintain a CNC Router and planer to machine parts for Company.
  • Operate all equipment necessary to machine parts including but not limited to milling, turning, brazing, bending, welding, etc.
  • Operate all equipment necessary to machine metal parts including but not limited to mold making, casting, stamping, etc.
  • Monitor quality of parts produced by observing dimensions, tolerances, and color. If required by your supervisor or manager, you must be able to demonstrate knowledge of quality standards and be able to distinguish between good and poor quality parts.
  • Maintain clean working environment and machines at all times.
  • Work with mínimal supervision as needed in a team environment.
  • Maintain safety standards as required by company policy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) five years with a stable work history.
  • Ability to set up machines efficiently; understand basic math concepts; read and understand blueprints; ability to understand quality standards; ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers; ability to use hand tools such as clamps and wrenches; ability to work overtime as required; ability to pass a background check

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour

Experience:

Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred)
