JOB DESCRIPTION.
As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Controller will report to the President or Senior Vice President and assume a senior role in the overall management of the company's finance and accounting functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure accounting principles, regulations and policies are adhered to law.
- Maximize returns and limit risks by evaluating the company financial current position and recommending investment plans.
- Monitor and forecast the financial performance of the company.
- Prepare and achieve budgets objectives by collecting, analysing, and consolidating financial data.
- Produce monthly financial statements for various condominium corporations.
- Prepare and review the year end accruals, work paper files for condo audits.
- Set up new condo corporations in Yardi.
- Track sales, prepare invoices, and issue payments.
- Fill and prepare HST, GST, WCB, Payroll, T4 etc.
- Lead and monitor the AR and AP team.
- Perform accounts reconciliations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CPA Designation.
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar role.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Yardi, Excel and Sage 50.
- Leadership and problemsolving skills.
- Results oriented.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$95,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
