- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment safely while abiding by all policies & procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Follow company policies (performance, safety, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
- Perform administrative tasks including completing permits, parts ordering, and work order completion.
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.
- Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Must be able to perform physical job duties including lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, bending/stooping, climbing ladders, and open/close valves.
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4feet and above)
- Ability to communicate in English (Verbal and Written)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts.
- Able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.
- Ability to operate machinery and/or Industrial equipment
- Be in your 2nd year or higher of your Millwright apprenticeship.
- Ontario or Inter-Provincial 433A Millwright Certificate (Full License)
- Basic food safety knowledge
- Knowledge of CFIA requirements for food manufacturing.
- Experience in production related work
- Forklift Certified
- Inventory Systems knowledge
