Detailer/Lube Technician to join our growing team You will play a crucial role in terms of quickly and efficiently performing routine maintenance on our customer's vehicles. The Lube Technician is responsible for inspecting and lubricating customer's vehicles in accordance with policies and procedures as set forth by the Service Manager. The Lube Technician will also perform light mechanical work such as tire and battery replacement and general detailing duties

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Performs Oil & filter changes.
  • Perform complete multipoint inspection on vehicle & check & mark all required items on check list as required & present findings to the Service Advisor.
  • Replaces oil and air filters.
  • Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary.
  • Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed.
  • Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants.
  • Tire mounting/balancing, rotations and repairs.
  • Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of cars
  • Perform general car detailing activities, including, vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing.
  • Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free.
  • Clean and polish vehicle windows.
  • Clean and polish wheels and rims.
  • Use cloths, squeegees, or air compressors to dry surfaces of vehicles.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Must have shop experience.
  • Automotive knowledge, certified training and experience is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity working with ADP and CDK programs is considered an asset.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Efficient problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using to use power and handheld equipment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
