Operations Manager at our Halifax division.

In this role, you will oversee the crews, work with vendors and ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

You don't need siding experience, but renovation experience is an asset. We are looking for the right person who has team leadership and project management experience.

What The Role Is All About:_

  • Building relationships with Vendors while ensuring the efficient and timely ordering of materials and equipment necessary for each project;
  • Building relationships and supervising siding crews to help ensure each project is executed with the highest of industry standards in mind;
  • Managing budgets and schedules of the projects;
  • Working closely with clients to answer any technical questions they may have and ensuring their satisfaction with the project;
  • Coordinating project delivery and communicating the status of the project and any changes in its scope to the general manager;
  • Receiving delivery of materials, and cross checking the same against the order;
  • And ensuring the proper return of any unused materials;
  • Overseeing payments to suppliers and crews, as necessary;
  • Submitting reports about the progress of the projects to the General Manager;

What Are The Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A mature and responsible person, eager to grow and develop with us;
  • A solid understanding of the construction industry;
  • A strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills;
  • Effective communication and planning skills;
  • Proven leadership and management skills;
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and client management systems is an asset;
  • Construction experience (at least 3 years) is an asset;
  • Project management experience (at least 3 years);
  • Reliable vehicle;
  • Valid Driver's license;
  • Reliable phone and computer;

From $60,000.00 per year

  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
