Operates, monitors, maintains and repairs electrical mechanical and other integrated infrastructure equipment and systems for BMO Financial Group s worldwide owned and leased facilities to maintain maximum availability reliability efficiency Acts as the main point of contact to provide emergency operational support resolve complex issues for Critical Environments infrastructure that ensure maximum system availability reliability efficiency Develops solutions makes recommendations based understanding business strategy stakeholder needs Provides advice guidance assigned business/group on implementation solutions Supports execution strategic initiatives collaboration internal external stakeholders Helps determine business priorities best sequence execution business/group strategy Ensures alignment between stakeholders Produces regular ad-hoc reports dashboards Leads or participates defining communication plan positively influence change behaviour develops tailored messaging identifies appropriate distribution channels Provides input operational capital planning implementation operational programs Plans reliable operation integrated facility infrastructure support systems e g electrical mechanical systems uninterrupted power supply UPS emergency power generators hydro power HVAC heating ventilation air conditioning fire detection suppression electrical power monitoring system building automation systems fulfil mandated uptime commitment Inspects grounds facilities infrastructure support systems performance determine necessity repairs maintenance conducts scheduled unscheduled preventative maintenance Identifies investigates issues determine causes schedules work performs minor repairs produces verifies work plans documents work asset management system oversees Work Order life cycle engages internal resources external service providers resolves issues escalates manager provides communication management key stakeholders Depending configuration role team structure assumes team leadership responsibilities may include providing specialized technical analytical support managing Asset Management System work order lifecycle coordinating site safety job safety plans critical environments overseeing training compliance maintaining critical spare parts inventory supporting audits Responds building occupant requests concerns resolve facility issues Focus primarily on within BMO may have broader enterprise-wide focus Exercises judgment identify diagnose solve problems given rules Works independently range complex tasks including unique situations Broader work accountabilities may be assigned needed
