Department Overview


The TDBG Organization Effectiveness Advisory & Governance Team (OE) is a Centre of Excellence which supports businesses across the enterprise on the analysis, development and implementation of organization design and organization effectiveness initiatives and corresponding governance policies.

The OE team operates as an internal consulting practice and works closely with HR business partners and senior business leaders to support business strategy and sustained performance.


About this Role


You will support the Organization Effectiveness Advice team by leading/conducting research and analysis on complex topics, requiring synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data, formulation of comprehensive commentary and recommendations.

Examples of topics include emerging trends in organizational capabilities and leading practice in organization effectiveness domains, including operating model design.

Reporting directly to a Manager, OE Advice you will work regularly with members of the OE team, across HR COEs, and HRBPs to develop point-of-view presentations, aid in developing solutions to organizational design challenges, and support the implementation of various projects.


As a respected analyst, you are well positioned as an emerging professional who has business acumen, analysis, communications and stakeholder management skills.


Primary accountabilities include:

  • Planning and conducting end to end analysis based on multiple sources of information including meaningful information gathering and validation; interpreting data; and producing insights, including observations/ recommendations
  • Creating presentations that provide a visual view and tell the story supporting the research conducted
  • Driving Org Health Metric data and insights with every engagement
  • Coordinating and supporting development efforts for OE initiatives and policies, interacting with business partners, internal / external stakeholders as required
  • Assisting with ongoing development of presentations and materials to convey complex conceptual topics
  • Leading coordination efforts, managing business relationships related to stakeholder meetings, vendors and logistics to support execution of specialized OE consulting projects and initiatives
  • Providing day to day support to OE Senior Advisors / Managers to support assigned projects and organization design work within their business portfolios
  • Conducting job evaluations as required; working closely with OE colleagues to complete job evaluation write up and technical evaluation
  • Supporting the everyday functionality (through team meetings, workshops, strategy session ideation, etc.) of the team, including extracurricular experiences
  • Developing and managing scorecards/ metrics/ etc. of the team, and partnering with other OE teams to ensure alignment of information/ broader OE Scorecard
  • Proactively identifying accelerators, and distributing to team (including reference documents, templates, tools, etc.)
  • May be an assigned contact for various stakeholder groups for project support; may lead a specific program, process or set of activities

Job Requirements

What can you bring to TD?
You're a confident professional with research and qualitative data analysis skills, and an articulate communicator (written and oral) who can serve as a reliable 'point person' for the coordination of various initiatives and activities, and possesses the following:

  • Minimum of university degree
  • degree in HR, Organizational Behaviour or Business Administration considered an asset.
  • Foundational knowledge/experience in research, HR, organization design and/or job evaluation. Background in related disciplines an asset.
  • Ability to solve ambiguous, complex problems requiring research and analysis of multiple variables, including consultation with multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Agile and agile team structures/operating models is an asset
  • Tech savviness and/or experience working with HRIS tools is an asset (Workday, Oracle, OrgVue)
  • Highproficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis, using results to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Ability to organize and present complex information/concepts in a persuasive manner, tailored to the audience.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Resultsorientated, well organized, with a high attention to detail.
  • Highlevel expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) is essential. #LI-Hybrid
