Your responsibilities in a few words
Prepare monthly analyzes to support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports - Record journal entries - Collaborate at stages of the budgetary process as well as in the preparation of audit files - Make certain complex accounting entries (reinsurance, several repositories accounting) and ensure the accuracy of the results - Perform various monthly, quarterly and annual analyzes in order to understand the results and balance sheet items, and be able to explain discrepancies - Be responsible for certain activities and controls as part of the annual budget process - Actively participate in the reinsurance process - Actively participate in the analysis and development of recommendations for improving the processes under his responsibility, and in updating the documentation of work procedures
Your strengths for this position
• Hold a CPA title or in the process of obtaining it
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial report analysis, financial disclosure, IFRS
• Experience in the damage insurance industry (asset)
• Knowledge of the ORACLE system (asset)
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, with strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of the payroll cycle (asset)
• Bilingualism: required
