This position is Onsite in Ottawa, Ontario
Our
DXC Modern Workplace services enables customers' employees to easily find, understand and engage with IT and their colleagues anytime, anywhere and on any device.
As an IT Technician, you will provide support to customers including installation, and servicing and repairing systems and equipment.
What you will do:

Provide Tech Support to customers including installation, and servicing and repairing systems and equipment.

Verify and approve operational quality of system equipment.

Resolve customer issues in the areas of hardware installation, repair, upgrade and maintenance.

Assist in investigating and resolving complex installations and maintenance matters of significance.

Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of systems/equipment.
-
Ensure issues are referred to the appropriate personnel/service areas for follow up, testing and troubleshooting.
Who you are/Basic requirements:
- High school diploma or G
ED
or related experience:
-
5 to 10 years of technical Desktop/Field Support
:
- Experience working with company products and operating systems such as
Windows.
Experience with ticket systems like (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy is a plus).

Experience with solving computer related problems
- Experience working with company escalation policy.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Organization skills to balance and prioritize work.

Analytical and
problem solving skills.

Have lived and worked in Canada for the last 10 years._

Pay:
$45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
