Vision Contracting Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee our residential construction projects in the beautiful Muskoka region.As the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all aspects of our construction projects, including planning, executing, and completing all work on time and within budget.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Supervising and coordinating all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and executing work
- Managing a team of carpenters and tradespeople, providing direction, and guidance as needed
- Ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Monitoring the progress on projects, and adjust plans as needed to ensure that all work is completed on schedule
- Overseeing the ordering and delivery of materials, and manage inventory to ensure that all materials are available when needed
- Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed on job sites, and work to identify and mitigate any potential hazards
- Maintaining accurate records of all work completed, including time sheets, work orders, and progress reports, etc.
- Communicating regularly with clients, architects, and other parties to ensure that projects meet all specifications and requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on carpentry
- Experience leading teams of carpenters and tradespeople
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Salary:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bracebridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Residential construction: 3 years (preferred)
- Supervising: 3 years (preferred)
