Broadcast Traffic Coordinator
Regular Full-Time

Position Overview

Core Responsibilities**- Strong customer service skills

Traffic broadcast spots and instructions to the appropriate networks/stations/channels
Interpret media plans into concise traffic instructions across different media
Order dubs accordingly
Manage estimating time and hard costs for clients, vendor invoicing and approve client billing for traffic and clearance
Manage clearance process for clients from script/storyboard phase through final edit
Assign commercial coding (ISCI and/or Ad-ID)
Maintain strong working relationships with network clearance editors
Help cover colleagues by addressing immediate client needs in their absence
Be available to clients for questions, concerns, followups, etc.
Keep abreast of industry trends
Troubleshoot new challenges with teammates in order to share experiences and create the best solutions for our clients
Electronically keep all files/records up to date

Key Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Ability to professionally interact with office colleagues and other company personnel, as well as supervisors and executives in an office setting
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Minimum typing/keyboarding of 30 words per minute.
Quick learner.
Organizational skills.
Attention to detail and analytical skills.
Flexibility and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Minimum Educational requirement: High School Diploma, 23 years' experience in related field
College business courses or equivalent work experience preferred
Additional experience in ad agency production, traffic and/or business affairs preferred.

Special Work Conditions

Sedentary
Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.
