Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- *Primary point of contact for patients/parents, referring offices, medical professionals*_
- Reception receive and register patients
- Scheduling/managing patient appointments and waitlists
- Process/scan/file incoming referrals and documents, with basic triaging
- Liaising with hospitals to assess and schedule OR bookings
Qualifications and Skills:

MUST have MINIMUM one (1) year experience and proficiency using the EMR Accuro:
MUST have AT LEAST one (1) year working in a specialist physician's office, or AT LEAST two (2) years working in a family medicine practice:- MOA certification preferred
- Must have excellent computer skills, and able to operate a range of office equipment (telephone, fax, computer, printer, scanner, etc.)
- Ability to use certain ophthalmological machines (e.g. OCT) is an asset

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

COVID-19 Considerations:
- Selected applicant will have to be vaccinated with the routine immunizations, as well as against COVID19, as the office serves vulnerable populations of patients
- As per provincial regulations, masks are required in all healthcare settings, including the office
*Selected applicant will undergo a probationary period of three months.
Salary:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour
