    Job Summary:

    Reporting to the Education Manager, and working primarily in elementary schools, this position acts as a support for First Nation students, teachers, counselors, administrators and parents in all aspects of education; performs administrative and project work as required; and performs other related duties.


    Education and Experience:

    Grade 12 with at least one-year successful completion of post-secondary training in education, child development and counseling, with experience in delivering and managing education programs or working with First Nations students, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.


    Conditions of Employment:
    Valid Class 5 Yukon Driver's License
    Willing to travel between Whitehorse and CAFN communities as required
    Clear Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sector check
    Mandatory confidentiality is a condition of employment for all CAFN personnel
