    The Building Inspector III is a key role in ensuring compliance with the B.C. Building Code, Zoning Bylaws, and other relevant acts and codes.

    This position involves performing building and plumbing inspections, issuing permits, and liaising with regulatory agencies to ensure buildings within the City limits meet all necessary requirements.




    • Grade 12 or equivalent education combined with relevant experience;

    • Completion of the BOABC Building Regulatory System Course and Level 3 exams;

    • A valid Class 5 Driver's License;

    • Criminal record check;
