Our Langley, BC Branch is seeking an Operations Manager to join us in all the exciting work we do.

Under the direction of General Manager, British Columbia, the Operations Manager is responsible for supervising our rental fleet servicing program, facilities management, offsite and onsite construction works, and third-party contractor management.


If you're someone who sees leading a service team and has strong safety acumen and takes pride in providing safety leadership to the service and site teams delivering projects out of the Langley branch -we'd love to hear from you.

In this position, you get to lead the service team with oversight of all maintenance scope, schedule, and budget (material and labor);

  • Support the estimating process for all site work, retrofitting, and service work.
  • Provide customer support and service call coordination for any issues.
  • Accountable for maintaining modular building fleet and yard; servicing, inspections, chargebacks, winterization, repairs, maintenance, and modifications, etc. as pertains to the rental fleet.
  • Ensure proper cost controls are in place for all services and operations.
  • Ensure projects and service work are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget.

What Else You Get To Do:

  • Responsible for client site installation and construction support as determined by project complexity.
  • Conduct safety inspections and observations.
  • Understand client site(s) nuances, restrictions, and project management plan;
  • Liaise with Contract Administration on service chargebacks and contract billing.

Who You Are:

  • Postsecondary education, from a recognized accredited institution, in a related field is preferred, not mandatory.
  • 5+ years working in equipment servicing, construction, or a projectbased role, including budgetary responsibilities.
  • Exceptional maintenance and operational project management and construction skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes, especially building code that applies to relocatable structures across British Columbia.
  • Experience executing construction projects, preferably in British Columbia.
  • Ability to lead people and drive execution excellence from both employees and 3rd parties.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational, problem solving and management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience executing projects from estimation up to completion.
  • Strong MS office skills.
  • Experience with Oracle considered an asset.
  • Experience working in unionized environments and previous experience in the modular industry would be considered an asset.

Salary:
$80K - $100K per year (Eligible for Annual Incentive)
