FP&A Analyst - Puslinch, Canada - Ren's Pets

Purpose of the position

• In order to develop the customer experience, excellent financial health is required, with the FP&A analyst being an essential collaborator with their business partners. This person will provide the data, budgets and analyses necessary for informed decision-making for all of Ren's Pets major functions.

Your mission at Groupe Legault, dedicated to supporting Ren's Pets

• Participate in the month-end process, prepare journal entries and identify risks and opportunities.
• Participate in the preparation and development of budgets and financial forecasts;
• Ensure budgetary control of operating costs.
• Participate and support the information gathering for audits.
• Responsible for producing and analyzing inventory, sales, margins and loyalty program reports.
• Complete the monthly phasing for stores and uploads.
• Act as a business partner for the retail, category management and marketing teams.
• Provide recommendations based on financial analyses. Be the economic conscience in the discussions.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of procedures and identify opportunities for automation and simplification of recurring accounting processes.

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• CPA accounting designation or in progress (asset).

• Knowledge of SAP (asset)
• Knowledge of NAV (asset)
• Knowledge of Business Object, WEB BI (asset)
• Knowledge of Tableau/Power BI
• Knowledge of the Office365 suite
• Knowledge of Jet Reports (asset)
• Fluency with Excel (mandatory)
• Oral and written communication skills, in English
