    Description

    The Shuswap Lake General Hospital has an opportunity for a Permanent Part Time (0.83 FTE) Diagnostic Mammography Technologist in Salmon Arm, B.C.

    This position will work rotating day and evenings shifts with the hours being between 07:00 to 15:00, 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 08:30 to 16:30, 09:30 to 17:30, 16:00 to 00:00.

    Please note that this position will also be required to work some general x-ray shifts, including weekends and on-call.

    What will you Work on?

    As the Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing mammography procedures, to image pathologic conditions in the diagnosis of breast disease, for routine and specialized purposes.

    Performs radiographic procedures and statistical record keeping for the proper operation and maintenance of the mammography area and as outlined in the departmental procedure manual.

    This role will also be responsible for performing general x-ray exams for the Shuswap Lake General Hospital.
