    WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

    As a Head of HR Corporate Functions, you play a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with the overall business objectives of the organization. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and an in-depth understanding of HR practices.

    The Head of HR Corporate Functions collaborates closely with business leaders, providing guidance on various HR matters to foster a positive work environment, employee engagement, and operational success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives and align HR strategies to support organizational goals.
    • Act as a consultant to management, offering insights on workforce planning, talent development, and employee relations.
    • Address and resolve employee relations issues, promoting a positive workplace culture.
    • Provide guidance on conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
    • Collaborate with leadership to identify talent gaps and implement strategies for recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
    • Support employee development through training initiatives and performance management processes.
    • Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
    • Provide guidance on policy interpretation and application to employees and managers.
    • Support the performance management process, providing coaching to managers on setting goals, conducting evaluations, and addressing performance issues.
    • Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend improvement strategies.
    • Assist in organizational change initiatives, providing guidance on communication, training, and employee engagement during periods of transition.
    • Proactively identify potential challenges and propose solutions to mitigate resistance to change.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Long standing experience as HR Business Partner for corporate functions or a similar strategic HR role.
    • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and industry best practices.
    • CHRL or SHRM is an asset
    • Strong ability to produce, read, analyze, and interpret human resource related documents
    • Exceptional communication skill to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to employee groups, and management at all levels of the company
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office is required.
    • Travel will be required (30%+) and will include international travel
    • Valid Driver's license and valid passport is a must
