The Maintenance Technician carries out preventative maintenance on equipment and systems, assists Coordinator and various trades with installations and annual maintenance plans, troubleshoots problems as required, and attends to repairs as needed.

This position is responsible for transferring related supplies to various sites, logging and tracking records and reports, and monitoring laundry and elevator equipment reporting problems as needed.


Qualifications

Education

  • Related trade certification.

Experience

  • At least one (1) year of experience working in a related environment or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience working with a similar organization that serves marginalized clients is an asset.

Requirements:


  • Complete the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.
  • Class 5 drivers' licence and clean driving record.

Shift Time: 8:00am to 4:00pm.
