Description
As an air duct cleaning technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure
optimal indoor air quality by meticulously cleaning HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems.
Here are the key aspects of the role:
1.
Inspecting and Cleaning Air Ducts:
- You'll thoroughly inspect air ducts, identifying any accumulated dust, debris, or contaminants.
- Using specialized equipment, you'll clean and sanitize the ducts to improve air circulation and quality.
- Alongside cleaning, you'll perform basic maintenance tasks on HVAC systems.
- This may involve checking filters, ensuring proper airflow, and addressing minor issues.
Performing Inspections:
- Regular inspections are essential to identify potential problems or areas requiring attention.
- You'll assess ductwork, fans, and other components to maintain system efficiency.
Customer Service:
- Excellent communication skills are crucial. You'll interact with clients, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Providing exceptional customer service ensures client satisfaction.

Work Schedule and Area:
- Most work occurs during
Monday to Friday Day Shifts - The primary work area includes
Greater Ottawa Area and surroundings
Additional Expectations:

Dependability, reliability, and punctuality are essential traits.
- You should be motivated, enthusiastic, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Physical ability to lift up to
75 lbs is necessary. - Familiarity with smart phone technology and apps for processing work orders and invoices onsite is advantageous.
- A valid
Class G License to drive in Ontario and a clean abstract from the Ministry of Transportation are mandatory. - Participation in
safety training and
WHMIS Certification is encouraged.
