    Bilingual Secretary:

    St. John's, NL
    Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Secretary position on behalf of our customer in the St. John's area. The successful candidate will assume the duty of clerical and administrative support to optimize workflow procedures in the office. You will assist colleagues and executives by supporting them with planning and distributing information.

    You will be the point of reference for all queries, requests or issues and will be an integral part for our customer.


    Shift Available: 8:00 to 3:00pm Monday to Friday

    Rate of Pay: $26.00 to $28.00 an hour


    Responsibilities:



    • Answering phone calls and redirecting them when necessary
    • Manage the daily/weekly/monthly agenda and arrange new meetings and appointments.
    • Prepare and disseminate correspondence, memos and forms
    • Opening and distributing mail and packages
    • Filing and maintaining information
    • Check frequently the levels of office supplies and place appropriate orders

    Candidate Qualifications:



    • Excellent oral and strong written communication
    • Ability to speak and write English/French fluently
    • Highly professional and polite with a positive attitude
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant
    • Completion of an Administrative Program
    • This role requires the submission of a Criminal Record Search
