Service Advisor

The Service Coordinator is the primary point of contact with customers and is responsible for providing administrative and customer service support while maintaining a courteous and respectful attitude in all:

Job Duties

  • Work with Operations Manager, Service team, and parts Department to create service estimates.
  • Responsible for work orders from open to close for all booked work.
  • Work with the parts department to ensure efficient operations and service.
  • Communicate with customers to provide work progress updates and follow up.
  • Schedule field service and ensure the service trucks follow the maintenance schedule.
  • Address customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Report to Operation Manager daily with all ongoing service activity.
  • Work with sales team to schedule crane preparation for sale and rental.
  • Liaise with Cropac Transportation and Customs Manager for local transportation requirements which will include ensuring the required manpower is available for loading and unloading equipment.
  • Track, schedule and maintain documents for all internal/external NDTs, CVI, equipment inspections, rental equipment, service fleet and preventative maintenance, schedules any other documentation, procedure requirements for Work safe BC.
  • Audit and ensure all documentation and erectors reports, certificate is complete and accurate.
  • Work with sales to prepare tower crane site books for each jobsite and crane mobilization.
  • Update equipment files on Google drive, internal equipment list and inventory, as required.
  • All other tasks requested or required in benefit of the company.

Requirements:


  • Experience working in a Service Advisor/Scheduler role. Minimum grade 12 education required.
  • 3+ years experience as Service Advisor (Heavy Equipment industry an asset).
  • Must be fluent in all aspects of the English language.
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work well under pressure + Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
  • CDK Intellidealer experience an asset

Work Conditions

  • PPE required.
  • Hazards associated with the trade.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors.
  • May be exposed to high levels of noise.
