Description

Experienced licensed security guards required at a high-rise Condominium located at Lawrence and Keele Toronto off the subway line.


The following days are required:
7 Days a week from 6pm to 4am


Job Description and Responsibilities:
Security Guard will perform a comprehensive perimeter check of the site for signs of irregular activity, loitering. The security guard is also responsible for conducting patrols to check for anything that might be amiss. The security guard will be responsible for reporting.


Other Responsibilities:
- patrol designated property to monitor and prevent intrusion, damage, hazards and breaches of security
- provide a visible presence that enforces safety and security
- identify and investigate suspicious behavior, threats and irregular activity
- check property through electronic monitoring systems
- enforce relevant laws and regulations pertaining to all individuals on the property
- report rule infractions and violations
- monitor and prevent movement of prohibited items into and out of property
- conduct exterior property checks for maintenance issues, malfunctions or hazards
- contact relevant authorities to deal with unlawful or irregular activities
- use radio or other communication devices in a clear and concise manner
- prepare written reports of daily activities, observations and incidents
- inspect and test fire and security systems

Part-time hours: 40 per week


Salary:
$17.00-$18.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Every Weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
