Position Summary:
Reporting to Sr.

BDM and/or Director, the primary objective of this role is to lead the execution of primary sales functions, tools, meetings, and communications for the sales organization.

This position will collaborate with various sales personnel to deliver against the core responsibilities outlined below.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners promptly assisting and handling requests for sales support or information as needed.
  • Manage invoices, purchase orders and cheque requisitions related to sales as requested
  • Collaborate with deductions team to verify that deductions from the customer are accurate and close deductions on a weekly basis
  • Accepting portal deals from the customer through the customer system
  • Manages and maintains National Price Lists, and Customer Price lists as requested
  • Manage and update spending tools and trends to support teams' current position
  • Review forecast with Sr. BDMs, account managers, and VP as required
  • Support reporting and analysis including but not limited to contract management, input annual business plan in the Trade Management tool and maintain trade events in TPM tool
  • Assist with building seniorlevel internal and external decks
  • Examples are alignment meetings, quarterly updates, etc
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Supply Chain functions for ordering supply chain needs
  • Support the Business Development Managers with any project work (i.e. Analyzing promo activity)
  • Consolidate review of new items, risks and opportunities
  • Identify needs and tools to effectively arm the sales and leadership team with key business metric reporting
  • Track and measure customer compliance and visibility of contracts, including pricing integrity and agreement terms


  • Audit reports

  • For accuracy and initiate or elevate appropriate action as it relates to information errors/issues
  • Work directly with the Sales team and other crossfunctional partners to resolve data and/or system discrepancies to ensure the most accurate information is reflected
(Examples:

Weekly forecast, promo analysis, internal/external business reviews, Nielsen and Vendor Net updates)

  • Provide project support for Team Lead, BDMs, and Account Managers
  • Assist with key meeting preparations, including catering, agenda, meeting invitations, room booking, creating purchase orders, preparing paperwork, assist with coordinating the National Sales meeting and the Biannual Review Sales meeting
  • Supports Sales team on administrative needs from admin requirements, expense reports, samples processing & booking travel if required

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or finance
  • Two to three years experience in finance or sales preferred role in a consumerpackaged goods environment
  • A team player, with superior customerservice acumen and a demonstrated ability to network with other departments
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience with SAP (R3, BW, TPM) preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problemsolving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent analytical skills and highly detailoriented
