    Project Manager (Digital Transformation) - Part Time

This is the job for you We are currently looking for a Project Manager for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

    What is in it for you:


    • Hourly salary of $54 to $64, based on experience.
    • 8-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
    • Part-time position: 20 hours per week.
    Hybrid work: 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.

    Responsibilities:




    • Provide support to AVP in collating ongoing views of the programs key successes, tracking outcomes, and identifying any issues, risks, and blockers requiring immediate action or intervention.
    • Support the coordination and management of communication forums across segments, including follow-ups on additional information required from project managers/product leads on global projects, based on requests from the global DCL leadership team.
    • Engage with stakeholders from segments and global teams to collect and consolidate information from segment governance forums and status reporting meetings for publication to the global leadership team.
    • Provide necessary support to ensure that the Governance model is executed efficiently and updated/refined on an ongoing basis based on learnings from ongoing execution, and in adherence to the Manulife Outcome Delivery Framework where applicable.
    What you will need to succeed:


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or other relevant post-secondary education preferred.
    • Relevant certifications such as PMP will be a significant plus.
    • 2+ years of project and program delivery experience, preferably in the financial services, wealth management, or insurance industry.
    • Experience working on large-scale digital transformation programs will be a significant plus, preferably with a dynamic global team.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to engage with stakeholders in a large, multinational enterprise context.
    • Ability to identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement across the program.
    • Experience in Agile ways of working, with a strong outcome-driven focus.
    • Excellent comprehension, analytical, and decision-making skills.
    • Self-motivated and directed, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
