    Registered Nurse Part Time - Emergency # Part-Time (0.5 FTE) #ONA

    Summary:
    • Position: Registered Nurse
    • Department: Emergency Department
    • Status: Part-Time (0.5 FTE)
    • Schedule: Days/ Evenings/ Weekends [7.5hr shifts]
    • Hourly Rate: $ $56.00 (effective April 1, 2024)
    • Affiliation: ONA Local 049

    Qualifications:
    • Registered Nurse (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
    • Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
    • ER Course Completed Emergency Nursing Certificate required.
    • Current BCLS, ACLS, and N95 mask fit.
    • Computer competency (Meditech and order entry).
    • Commitment to continued education related to the position.
    • Current IV Therapy administration skills are required.
    • Coronary Course/EKG interpretation skills required.
    • Recent ER experience preferred.
    • TNCC Preferred
    • CTAS Course Preferred
    • Canadian Emergency Certification or Critical Care preferred.
