Position Summary

:

The incumbent in this role works to protect and enhance Walmart's reputation in Canada with a focus on community relations, local media relations, content development and storytelling and digital media.

What you'll do
:

Contract Role: 18 Months:

Plan and execute internal and external communication plans to support business unit initiatives

Develop and manage creative content including writing, video production, graphic design and digital content such as blog and social media posts

Lead planning, execution and content building for corporate and engagement events

Build relationships across the business and local media in communities where Walmart operates

Support management of local reputation issues and crisis communications.**:

Conduct media monitoring

Qualifications

College diploma/degree in PR, comms, media preferred
45 years experience in PR/comms/Agency/Retail preferred ‎
