We are currently recruiting for an experienced
Carpenter to join the team at the Mission Bridge Rehabilitation project in
Calgary
Shift is 5 days on 2 days off - Overtime and Weekends as required.

In the role you will be:

Ensuring projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high quality standards.
Understand industrial concrete forming, be able to build concrete forms, and other structures.
Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, while utilizing appropriate math skills
Operation of telehandler in tight spaces as needed.
Checks accuracy of work and makes adjustments as required.
Acts as a work leader and mentor
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supporting and maintaining healthy, happy work environments and corporate culture
Maintaining clean, organized, and professional presentation of work sites

Requirements:

You are a highly skilled Carpenter that is able to produce quality craftsmanship.
Journeyperson Carpenter ticket from a recognized provincial training authority or be a registered Carpenter Apprentice
CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 201
Fall Protection (Ossa Preferred)
Be able to work with mínimal supervision
You have an understanding of construction phases and workflow
Experience in multiple phases of construction, from foundation work to finishing
Proficient in use of all power tools, table saws etc.
