Reporting to the Director Strategic Distribution & Innovation, the

Jr Project Lead - Pharma Distribution, will be responsible for leading new distribution center

sub-systems and/or area from design to activation. The incumbent will analyze, develop, recommend, implement, test, and launch distribution solutions. As such, the person will recommend network, infrastructure, process, and technology strategies and recommend supply chain improvements and efficiencies. This person is accountable of delivering the

sub-system/area as per the business case and design expectations (e.g., system throughput, storage capacity) in the timeline and budget provided.

and superior ability to leverage data and metrics in providing relevant and value-added recommendations. The role will also require superior communication skills to effectively engage and promote collaboration among multi-function and/or cross-BU stakeholders. The role requires

Technical Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert in
    data collection and analysis:
  • Technical design lead for
    sub-systems / area. of a distribution center, layout, optimize / reengineer process, configure systems, monitor equipment installation, test, integrate and activate.

Execute alternative designs and development of analytical models, reports to assist prompt decision making.
-
Assist
in supplier relationships management from design, to procurement, to installation by providing technical information (installation progress, issue log, deficiency list...)

Track sub-system / area cost vs budget.
Identify alternatives when issues arise.

  • Effective communication and
    engagement with Operation supervisors to plan activities, confirm business needs and assumptions, create design understanding, and highlight changes.

Supports key stakeholders' engagement by creating concise and informative presentations and dashboard.


General Responsibilities

Keep an eye on trends in supply chain, in distribution technology & systems

  • Develop a
    general understanding of the Pharma business; knows and track customer service and supply chain performance KPIs.

Assist network planning and financial analysis on strategic initiatives or opportunities.

Leadership

  • Support, guide, and direct
    activities of team related to their subprojects.

Identify sub-projects priorities, road block and mitigation strategies in order to maintain the project on-time and on budget.
