District Noodle House is a new restaurant based in Vancouver that specializes in traditional Vietnamese dishes/flavours while adding modern twists.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items according to recipe standards
  • Cook food items by sautéing, grilling, frying, and other cooking methods required by recipes
  • Complete kitchen tasks of line set up, food preparation, cleaning/sanitation, and breakdown
  • Opens or Closes the kitchen properly and follows the checklists and prep sheets for kitchen stations
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to proper food handling practices and food safety guidelines

Requirements:


  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A minimum of 1 years of experience in kitchen prep/cooking.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 20-25 per week


Salary:
$16.65-$20.00 per hour

  • Every Weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vancouver, BC V5S 0C8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (preferred)
  • Night Shift (preferred)
