Market Research Analyst - Montréal, Canada - Hardt
Description
**Key Areas of ResponsibilityAnalyze the market to uncover market share opportunities for Hardt's existing and potential
future product lines;
Collect data on competitors' marketing tactics, sales prices and product/service distribution in
the commercial food service industry, primarily focused on the North American market;
Gather and analyze data related to market conditions and consumer (B2B) demographics;
Present reports & analysis to stakeholders (internal)
- Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations/share insights;
grow the sale of Hardt's products;
Research customers' opinions, buying habits, preferences, wants and needs, current operational
process (transformation of food ingredients to sellable product);
Monitor and forecast marketing/sales trends, highlighting opportunities for new initiatives
Utilize online market research and catalog findings to databases.
**Qualifications

Creative in finding data sources / explores all avenues;
A desire to dig deep and leave no stone unturned to find the information;
Has a hunger to understand what makes things tick;
Can interpret large amounts of data and communicate meaningful insights to stakeholders;

Strong organizational skills;
A collaborative personality;
Excellent communication skills in English and French;
Strong presentation and reporting skills;
Software skills in Databases and MS Office;
Bachelor's degree in:
Marketing, Market Research, Quantitative or Qualitative Research
methods, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or other
related field, plus demonstrable experience is considered an asset;
Knowledge of/Experience with:
Data visualization / Charting / Dashboarding software (Microsoft
Power BI, Tableau, Zoho, other) is considered an asset.
Working Conditions
Normal for an office environment. Work week consists of 37.5 hours, from Monday through Friday.
Working Conditions:
Hardt encourages working from home where the type of work permits it at a
- maximum of 3 days per week and minimum 2 days in the office. Team members should coordinate with
- their Supervisor to assess what is suitable and define best options that respect both employees' and
- business needs and deliverables. Working from home will be possible when fully trained.
