At Chick-fil-A, a Kitchen Supervisor begins to take on a leadership position within the store. Kitchen Supervisors are expected to demonstrate strong character and integrity beyond just the functional skill of a Team Member.

Kitchen Supervisors must have a growth mindset, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, & proactivity.

Kitchen Supervisors are expected to act as role models for the new hires, lead small groups of people, and help to alleviate pressure from others on duty.

In addition to these qualities, Kitchen Supervisors must provide constructive and positive feedback to all Team Members.

To excel in this position, you must enthusiastically and passionately lead by example as you help to develop a strong team with a high standard of excellence.

Job Summary

Kitchen Supervisors are responsible for day-to-day task management of the restaurant. They are engaging with guests and Team Members and solving concerns and issues.

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you are to ensure that both front of house and back of house are operating according to the proper procedures.

Hours of operation are from 10:00am - 9:00pm, Monday - Saturday.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing Team Member performance and staffing needs
  • Engaging and resolving customer complaints
  • Managing daytoday operational responsibilities
  • Managing daytoday business activities, shift organization & restaurant needs
  • Supervisors should be responsive and aware of surroundings & communication updates
  • Successfully assists in training new hires
  • Able to hold people accountable for fulfilling their role properly
  • Proactively seeks out things that need to be done
  • Effectively train and develop Team Members
  • Maintain store cleanliness & organization
  • Set & communicate goals and metrics to succeed (guest satisfaction scores, food waste, etc)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong people skills with a desire to serve team members
  • Strong commitment to superior customer service
  • Ability to manage Team Member behavioural and performance issues
  • Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
  • Must be mature, patient, professional, and have a growth mindset at all times

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum 16+ years old
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Previous leadership experience an asset
  • Delegate tasks to Team Members and follow up
  • Lead shifts and Team Members to complete tasks as required for the business
  • Manage Inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance tasks in the restaurant
  • Ensure to own part of the business and execute based on business demands
