Job Summary
We are searching for a Commissioning Agent/Manager (junior/intermediate level) to work with our team of professionals. You will complete both off-site commissioning work and on-site commissioning reviews and troubleshoot system operational problems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to be an integral part of a vibrant, growing organization.

The continuously challenging nature of this position will require continuous learning and understanding of complex mechanical and electrical systems and an insistent desire for knowledge.

What You Will Be Doing

• Review project documentation (specifications and plans) and participate in the review process as a commissioning representative.
• Assist our commissioning team to prepare the commissioning plan and lead the commissioning process.
• Develop project specific commissioning documentation and plans using standard templates.
• Review site equipment installations and confirm the system installation is complete.
• Develop procedures and lead onsite functional and performance testing of mechanical/electrical systems including integrated systems testing.
• Prepare commissioning documents as required including site visit reports, document reviews and status reports.
• Work with the latest software such as Microsoft Word/Excel/Share Point and & Bluebeam Revu.

Required Abilities

• Handson practical skills (e.g. construction, trades, mechanics, farming, engines, motors, etc.)
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Function independently in a multiplayer environment.
• Achieve goals, objectives, deadlines, and while taking ownership of your work.
• Passionate about the engineering / construction sector.
• Adjust and thrive in a constantly changing environment
• Excellent communication skills, coupled with the ability to lead discussions effectively and foster strong client relationships.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.

Experience and Qualifications

• 5 years minimum direct experience in related construction fields (mechanical/electrical/controls & instrumentation) or
• Equivalent educational qualification, i.e., relevant 34 years postsecondary education (technology diploma, bachelor's degree, etc.) with 03 years mechanical and/or electrical building/industrial systems experience. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Physical Requirements

• Move safely and freely around active construction sites and operational facilities.
• Crawl through spaces with congested piping and ductwork.
• Carry and climb ladders.
• Carry test instruments and equipment.
• Sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
• Stand for extended periods while on construction sites; periodically working in dirty, dusty, and noisy environments with proper personal protective equipment.
• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
