What we need


Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the standards and procedures necessary for the maintenance and repair of the spa's facilities and equipment are in place and adhered to, in order to provide a safe and secure site for our clients to enjoy a unique experience.


What you'll do

Management Activities:
planning, organization and control


  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of a maintenance activity model;
  • Ensure the execution and control of work related to the preventive and corrective maintenance of the building's equipment and systems;
  • Ensure the monitoring and computerized followup of the operating conditions of the various systems;
  • Ensure compliance with the various codes, laws, standards and norms applicable to the environment, buildings and equipment;
  • Supervise, control and coordinate the work of subcontractors or external suppliers in accordance with established standards;
  • Respsonible for the recruitment of personnel for the department and ensure an effective onboarding and training period;
  • Ensure all departmental standard operating procedures, protocols and regulations are adhered to at all times;
  • Participates in the performance evaluations of personnel;
  • Establish work schedules according to needs and in compliance with labour policies and standards;
  • Ensures that the work environment is safe and that health and safety policies, procedures and standards are followed by staff and contracted vendors;
  • Collaborate with the Director of Technical Services on budget estimates for building and grounds operations and maintenance;
  • Recommend and implement measures to improve building energy performance;
  • Effectively manage the procurement of replacement parts, chemicals and other supplies;
  • Manage the storage of furniture and equipment in warehouses, garages and attics;
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Profile needed

What is the profile needed in order to be successful in this position

  • College diploma (DEC) in building mechanics, asset management or other related discipline;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a management position within a building maintenance team or related experience;
  • Manual and technical work skills;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Ability to mobilize and develop efficient teams;
  • Sense of challenge, perseverance and resistance to stress;
  • CPO certified or prior experience with pools an asset;
  • Familiarity with Public Health regulations and protocols an asset.

When


You will work approximately 44 hours per week, but on occasion you will be required to work in excess of 44 hours in order to meet business demands.

You will be required to work a flexible schedule which at times will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays as determined by the departments needs.
