Hamilton High Street Senior Residence is centrally located in East Richmond, only minutes of drive to New Westminster, Burnaby, and Richmond Center, and we are looking for empathetic, positive and passionate individuals in joining our team to support a lifestyle of choices and freedom for our residents.


Position Summary:


1.

Specific resident services include but not limited to:

Orientation of all new residents, providing and promoting optional services, coordinating all moves, and daily resident relations.

Administrative duties include:

All aspects of Front Desk Management & Accounts receivable processing of all resident move-in and out and community operations.


Experience/Qualifications:


Must be knowledgeable and experienced in:

  • Computer programs including word, excel, power point and others as needed.
  • Office set up and record maintenance.
  • Preparation of invoices and cash management.
  • Assisting with scheduling of staff and payroll duties as required.
  • Strong experience in the Senior or Hospitality Industry would be an asset.
  • Must be capable of compiling reports, statistics, records and other documents as needed.
  • Must show initiative and be able to work well under limited supervision and within a team setting.
  • Must be able to perform under stressful situations and multitask.
  • Must be able to handle large volume of incoming calls and switchboard operations.
  • Must be able to assist other departments as required.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to assist with daytoday operations of a brandnew retirement community.
  • Ability to speak a second language is a strong asset, please indicate on your resume if you are fluent in another language.

Education:


  • High school graduate or above

Personal Characteristics:


  • Empathy for and understanding of the needs of seniors, older adults, and their families and professional service providers.
  • Mature hospitality manner where residents are a priority and satisfaction a must.
  • Must have strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Must be free from communicable diseases.
