Manager, Operational Readiness


Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manager of Operational Readiness will represent Operations in enterprise-wide program and project discussions, providing guidance and direction on Contact Centre & Operations requirements, while leading a back-office Operations team that includes insurance, credit balance refunds, cash promos and compliance reports workstream.

Additionally, this role creates and executes project strategies and deliverables, and supports initiative optimization to achieve operational efficiency that directly impacts the bottom line.


What you will be doing:


  • Participate in requirements gathering, design, testing and implementation of projects using breadth of technical knowledge and operational experience
  • Develop change management plans and perform impact analysis of upcoming project and product changes
  • Oversee a team of specialists, manage day to day performance and support the team by troubleshooting issues
  • Perform people management activities such as goal setting, regular 1:1s, and career planning & development
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve work and process efficiently
  • Handle diverse set of issues, prioritize and manage competing initiatives; challenge the status quo and recommend alternative ways of conducting operations

What you should have:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in backoffice operations
  • Minimum 1 year of people leadership experience
  • Project Management skills experience leading operations projects
  • Ability to analyze, prioritize and consolidate project risks and decisions and assess its potential impact on operations
  • Credit Card knowledge and experience launching new financial instruments
  • Change Management experience is an asset
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking by envisioning the big picture
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, autonomy, and accountability
