The City of Delta is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and share in our commitment to lead the way in public service excellence.

Manager, Solid Waste Services:

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Engineering, the Manager oversees the solid waste team and the City's solid waste collection service contract.

These responsibilities include managing all aspects of the service, such as representing the City in stakeholder meetings, managing and negotiating collection contracts, managing projects and budgets, and reporting to Council.

This position requires excellent leadership and supervisory skills, demonstrated experience and proficiency in contract negotiation, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and budget management and project management experience.

In addition, exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.

The City of Delta's Covid-19 Vaccination Policy has been suspended, however, we reserve the right to reinstate it in response to changes in the public health landscape, including public health orders.
