Description

Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
Select trade subcontractors and coordinate their activities
Plan and manage budgets
Oversee the analysis of data and information
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Prepare reports
Public liaison and media relations
Project cash flow and financing requirements
Prepare marketing materials
Ensure that construction permits are obtained
Ensure safety procedures are followed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in energy or a related field
Fall Arrest Protection Training Course and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Experience in energy and utilities, systems analysis or operations, or engineering professional and construction management (EPCM)
Knowledge of power distribution and transmission lines, renewable resources, and power generation, transmission, or distribution
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet tight deadlines
Flexibility, judgment, and attention to detail
Own tools/equipment including a hard hat, steeltoed safety boots, and cellular phone
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly

This is a permanent part-time position that may lead to full-time work, with a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 annually to be negotiated.
