Swissmar is a leading manufacturer and distributor of European housewares and cookware to a worldwide market.

Our Canadian team is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and results-driven National Sales and Key Account Manager to join our growing team and expand our Canadian distribution.


Role Responsibilities:
As the National Sales and Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business development to achieve sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong customer relationships


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and increase market share.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with existing and prospective national accounts to expand our market presence.
  • Take a leading role in presentations/proposals with existing and prospective accounts.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctioning internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Focus on datadriven insights to track progress, measure success, and identify areas for improvement with current accounts.
  • Analyze market trends and research competitor activities to identify new sales channels and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with and lead an external sales representative team to achieve individual and collective objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decisionmakers in the industry.

Necessary Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in national sales management and business development with a track record of exceeding targets and building new business.
  • Strong understanding of the Housewares landscape and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • A resultsoriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and relationshipbuilding.
  • Bilingual an asset but not required.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in national sales management.
  • Housewares Industry knowledge.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capable and receptive to learning new technologies.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
