Babco Sales is the exclusive agent for BendPak/Ranger, Peak equipment, and other leading brands in Canada.

Our head office is in Surrey, BC, and we have a warehouse location in Mississauga, ON, with remote service locations in Edmonton, AB, and Winnipeg, MB.


Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Business Development Leader to join our team in Ontario.

As the Business Development Leader, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients in the heavy-duty automotive industry.

You will report to the Director of Sales and work closely with our sales team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for heavyduty automotive equipment sales
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth in the heavyduty automotive equipment market
  • Contact existing and potential customers through high volume inbound/outbound calls to obtain new opportunities for heavyduty automotive equipment sales
  • Analyze sales data and create reports to inform decisionmaking for heavyduty automotive equipment sales
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in the heavyduty automotive industry
  • Attend trade shows and other industry events to promote our heavyduty automotive equipment products and services
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales

Requirements:


  • A proven track record of securing new business in a salesrelated role in the heavyduty automotive industry
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Basic mathematics and computer competency
  • The ability to read and interpret floor plans and drawings for heavyduty automotive equipment installation
  • Knowledge of heavyduty automotive equipment and service operations
  • A high sense of urgency and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in English (both written and oral); French language skills are an asset
  • Must be legally qualified to work in Canada and a current resident of the GTA, ON area

Job Type:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of $80,000 per year plus commission.
