The Toronto office is looking for Project Coordinators on contract to join their Municipal team.


Duties:


  • Participation in contract administration services, site inspections, field investigations when required.
  • Works closely with Contractor Administrators and Site Representatives to provide construction admin support as necessary.
  • Assist Contract Administrators with preparation of payment certificates, quantity verification and other contract administrative services.
  • Attend meetings and prepare minutes.
  • Assist with preparation of Contract Specifications and review of municipal standards.
  • Forecast construction budgets for construction contracts.
  • Conduct periodic site visits and work closely with construction teams to help with early identification and resolution of issues.
  • Assist with preparation of MicroStation/InRoads design drawings when required.
  • Other duties as required where appropriate for the position.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized postsecondary institution.
  • 12 years of related work experience would be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and in an interactive team atmosphere.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
  • Knowledge of Microstation and InRoads is an asset.
  • Construction inspection and/or survey experience is beneficial.
  • Access to a vehicle is required.
